COVID-19 Response Fund - Call For Donations

As a video production company during COVID-19, we had many shoots put on hold due to health and safety regulations. And like many others, we soon found ourselves spending most of our time working from home. We didn’t have to go to work and risk our lives, we didn’t have to worry about loosing a coworker to this horrible disease, we didn’t have to isolate from our families due to the possibility of infecting them with a disease brought home from work, we didn’t have to hide from a scared society after spending all day saving it.

As non-essential workers, we did not have much to worry about, but as we watched healthcare workers suffer due to lack of resources, we felt useless and frustrated. During the pandemic we chose to focus our efforts on helping shed light on important subjects and causes. One of those important subjects was the need for resources in our local hospitals. When asked by Tango Creative Group to create a short video for Erie Shores HealthCare to use as a call for donations, AXLE happily took on the project without question as it was the least we could do. The concept was kept simple due to lockdown regulations, although no-matter the concept, we were just happy to help in any way we could and we were thrilled to see this campaign for donations succeed. The Erie Shores Health Foundation was able to raise over $75K that week. The money went directly to purchasing vital equipment, technology, and PPE required to help in fight against COVID 19.
